Your Responsibilities
In your role as Controller (m/f/d), you will act as a commercial authority and business partner for Bauermeister Zerkleinerungstechnik GmbH. You will be responsible for the economic management of the company and will support management and specialist departments with sound analyses, transparent reporting, and clear recommendations for action.
You will monitor earnings development, manage liquidity and working capital, and actively participate in planning, forecasting, and closing processes. In addition, you will be the central commercial interface to PROBAT Group Finance and will be involved in projects for the further development of controlling processes, systems, and instruments.
Location: Norderstedt (near Hamburg)
Organizational classification:
The position is based in the commercial department and works closely with the management and Group Finance.
International connections:
Due to its integration into the PROBAT Group, there is regular coordination with international locations and central group functions.
Your Tasks:
- Analysis, commentary, and control of monthly earnings development
- Conducting deviation analyses and deriving concrete recommendations for action
- Collaboration on measures for sustainable earnings improvement
- Participation in budget, investment, and forecast processes
- Preparing reports and presentations for management and specialist departments
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Planning and monitoring liquidity and managing working capital
- Checking and approving invoices and travel expenses
- Collaborating on cross-departmental projects and further developing controlling processes and systems
Your Profile
- Completed (technical) university degree in business administration with a focus on finance and/or controlling
- Several years of professional experience in controlling at an international manufacturing company
- Knowledge of contract law is an advantage
- Strong analytical and structured approach to work
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different interfaces
- Confident use of Office 365 and ERP systems, ideally AMS++ and AMS Finance
- Very good German and English skills
