We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in Coffee & Food (50% remote work possible) for Probat Service GmbH, to start as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding technical and commercial issues, analyze malfunctions remotely, coordinate practical solutions in collaboration with internal departments, and manage support and service projects from initial inquiry through to successful implementation.

The position is located within the Service division and reports directly to the department head
Team size:
You will work as part of a team of 7 colleagues.
International connections:
Due to the global structure of our corporate group, there is regular coordination with international locations, particularly with, for example, the USA, the Netherlands, etc. Project work often takes place in intercultural teams.
Your Tasks:
- You will handle customer inquiries and serve as the primary point of contact (m/f/d) for technical issues.
- Using remote access, you will analyze the situation together with the customer and assist with troubleshooting.
- You will identify the specific nature of the issue and assign tasks to our specialist departments accordingly.
- Together with the team, you will work on fault analysis and develop practical solutions.
- You plan and coordinate measures to resolve issues—from the initial idea through to implementation.
- As the central point of contact, you oversee the internal distribution of tasks and coordinate closely with the customer.
- You will lead projects in the area of customer support—both nationally and internationally.
- For technical or commercial issues, you are the primary point of contact (m/f/d) for our customers.
- You participate in our on-call duty (in accordance with the applicable company agreement)—clearly regulated and fairly compensated.
Your profile:
- You have completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, IT) or hold a relevant technical degree.
- Ideally, you have gained professional experience in technical customer service or as a service technician (m/f/d).
- You possess strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, and you can find the right solution even in stressful situations.
- You work in a goal-oriented and structured manner and never lose sight of the big picture.
- You speak English very well and can express yourself confidently in writing.
