For our locations in Emmerich am Rhein (Germany) or Koog aan de Zaan (Netherlands), we are looking for a Global Learning & Organisational Development Manager (m/f/d).

Purpose of the position:

In this role, you will actively shape the development of our organisation at the group level. You will be responsible for international initiatives in leadership development, employee engagement, and organisational change. Your core responsibilities include designing and implementing leadership development programmes, managing global employee engagement surveys, and supporting cultural transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the PROBAT Group to strengthen leadership capabilities, increase employee engagement, and foster a high-performance organisational culture. In addition, you will lead the implementation, further development, and governance of a global Learning Management System (LMS), helping to establish a sustainable learning and development culture across the organisation.

Work Location:
The workplace is flexible, either Emmerich am Rhein (Germany) or Koog aan de Zaan (Netherlands).

Organizational Integration:
You are part of the global HR team, consisting of 17 people, and report directly to the CHRO of the group.

International Connections:
The position is conceptual, project-based, and internationally focused—having a direct impact on the organizational development of the entire corporate group.

Tasks and responsibilities: 

Leadership Development

  • Design and implementation of a global, scalable leadership program for various management levels
  • Selection of suitable learning formats, content, and implementation partners
  • Implementation in close cooperation with HR and business stakeholders worldwide
  • Measuring success and further development based on feedback and KPIs 

Engagement & Culture 

  • Design, implementation, and follow-up of group-wide employee surveys (including service provider management, go-live, communication, evaluation of results, derivation and tracking of measures)
  • Advising managers and HR on the implementation of follow-up processes
  • Designing and implementing international measures to promote constructive cooperation and a uniform understanding of leadership across national borders 

Change & Organizational Development

  • Support in group-wide change and transformation projects with a focus on employee communication, activation of corporate values and culture
  • Development and moderation of accompanying learning and participation formats
  • Advise and support business functions during change processes.

Global Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Take overall project responsibility for the end-to-end implementation of a global LMS: requirements gathering, implementation, rollout, and ongoing support.
  • Development and implementation of uniform learning standards and processes
  • Coordinate internal and external partners and service providers within global Learning & Development and engagement projects and work closely with local HR teams.

Your Profile

  • Completed relevant Bachelor's degree, e.g. in Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in learning & development and organizational development within internationally operating companies
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the enthusiasm to manage and implement complex projects in an international environment.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Initiative, team spirit, and intercultural competence.
