Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team at the Norderstedt location, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Exciting tasks await you as part of our innovative technical team:
- Independent constructive design and adaptation of machines for customer orders (creation of detailed designs, drawings, and parts lists, selection of purchased components, etc.)
- Close collaboration with project planning, sales, purchasing, production, process engineering, and automation from inquiry to acceptance of the finished machines
- Continuous work on new and further development projects to optimize our portfolio
- Evaluation and implementation of requirements from machinery, explosion protection, food, and other relevant regulations
- Support of our service team during commissioning and maintenance operations
- Active involvement of customers and suppliers in the design processes and change management
As a team player (m/f/d), you bring the following:
- Completed technical studies in mechanical engineering, state-certified technician (m/f/d) specializing in mechanical engineering, or comparable training, ideally with relevant professional experience
- Solid 3D-CAD knowledge (preferably Solid Edge) as well as a good understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Experience in working with an ERP system
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured and analytical working style
- Commitment and independence combined with communication skills
- Team spirit, customer orientation, and confident demeanor
- Willingness for occasional international business trips
