Your Responsibilities
You will be jointly responsible for receiving, inspecting, and forwarding all incoming goods at our facility. In doing so, you will ensure that quality, completeness, and documentation are maintained at all times. Through your meticulous work ethic, technical expertise, and confident use of our systems, you will make a significant contribution to a smooth flow of materials and the quality of our products.
Location: Emmerich am Rhein
Organizational Structure: The position is located within the Logistics department and reports directly to the department head.
Team Size: You will work in a team within the Goods Receiving and Warehouse Logistics department, which collaborates closely with adjacent departments such as Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and Quality Assurance.
International connections: Due to the company’s international structure, there are regular interactions with global locations - e.g., regarding goods receipt, supplier communication, or customs coordination. However, your day-to-day work takes place exclusively at the Emmerich location.
Your Tasks:
- Receiving and unloading goods, including the use of forklifts
- Visual inspection, identity verification, quantity verification, and basic dimensional checks of deliveries
- Conducting TQP inspections (identity, delivery condition, dimensional checks)
- Unpacking, sorting, and proper disposal of packaging materials
- Forwarding of inspected goods to cost centers or the warehouse
- Processing of customs documents, including forwarding to Ex Pack and tracking of approvals
- Recording and processing of complaints and returns in AMS in coordination with Purchasing
- Maintenance and upkeep of work equipment
- Support for other logistics processes, e.g., during inventory counts
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or technical training in plant and mechanical engineering
- Experience working with technical drawings and bill of materials
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, ideally AMS++
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Team-oriented and service-oriented approach to work with clear communication
