Now we are looking for you as a Product Manager (m/w/d) at the earliest possible date.
Your Responsibilities
Your Area of Responsibility
As a Product Manager (m/w/d), you are responsible for the holistic product management of our automated and intelligent machine and plant solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
You identify market and customer potentials, develop future-oriented product and automation concepts, and manage their implementation from the idea through development and industrialization to market launch and continuous further development. In doing so, you also collaborate with Business Development, coordinate projects together with the Engineering, R&D, Production, Sales, and Service departments, and ensure that our solutions are economically successful, provide measurable customer benefits, and strategically contribute to the further development of our portfolio.
Location: You will support the Emmerich am Rhein site, with regular travel activities required.
Team Size: You will work as part of a 9-member team on diverse tasks.
International Connections: Due to the global structure of our corporate group, you will regularly coordinate with international locations.
Your Tasks:
- Holistic responsibility for automated and intelligent machine solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Analysis of market, customer, and technology trends as well as development of well-founded business cases
- Definition of product strategy, functions (e.g., smart features), and technical specifications
- Management and coordination of interdisciplinary development (mechanics, electronics, software)
- Ensuring all processes related to system integration, quality, budget, and roadmap, as well as accompanying industrialization and production ramp-up
- Development and implementation of go-to-market strategies
- Taking responsibility for performance monitoring, further development, and lifecycle management of the products
Your Profile
- Completed studies in engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
- Relevant experience in product management, business development, or the development of automated machines/plants
- Understanding of industrial automation, digital systems, and process optimization
- Analytical, structured, and economical working style
- Communication and interface competence
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel internationally (depending on project requirements)
