To support our quality management in the area of patents and quality assurance, we are looking for you to join us as a Quality Assistant (m/f/d) on a fixed-term contract for one year.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting with the creation, maintenance, and further development of our quality management system within the Patent and Quality Management department. In this role, you will ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, participate in audits and evaluations, and actively support the continuous improvement of our processes. The position is based within the Patent and Quality Management department and reports directly to the department head.
Location: Emmerich
Team size: You will work as part of a team of three colleagues within the Patent and Quality Management department.
International connections: Due to the global structure of our corporate group, there is regular coordination with international locations. Project work often takes place in intercultural teams.
Your Tasks:
- Assisting with the creation, maintenance, and control of QM documents and databases
- Ensuring document control in accordance with internal and external requirements
- Assisting with the preparation, conduct, and follow-up of internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
- Identifying and tracking actions required to meet legal requirements
- Preparation of analyses, reports, and quality metrics (KPIs)
- Assistance with the preparation of management reviews
- Development of training programs and instructional materials in the QM environment
- Coordination with internal departments such as Production, Logistics, and Engineering
- Support for continuous improvement (CI) projects
- Assistance with the implementation of improvement measures and escalation management
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training or a college degree, e.g., in a technical, business, or quality management field
- Initial practical experience in quality management or management systems is a plus (e.g., as a quality management specialist or in an auditing role)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ideally, experience with ERP or management system software (e.g., AMS, Quentic)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
