Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and servicing work on our machines and equipment. You will analyze malfunctions, carry out installations and modifications, coordinate with external service providers, ensure compliance with technical and legal requirements, and ensure smooth plant operations through reliable documentation and spare parts management.
Location: Emmerich am Rhein
Organizational Structure: The position is located within the Manufacturing/Maintenance division and reports directly to the division management.
Team Size: As a team leader, you will work closely with approximately eight other team leaders and foremen from production and coordinate ongoing maintenance and production processes across departments.
International connections: Due to the global structure of our corporate group, there is regular coordination with international locations.
Your Tasks:
- Organizing and performing maintenance, repair, and servicing work
- Analyzing and troubleshooting faults and malfunctions in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Performing installation and modification work
- Determining requirements and procuring replacement and wear parts
- Collaborating and coordinating with production and external service providers
- Ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations
- Conducting safety inspections on systems, equipment, and work tools
- Maintaining and updating maintenance documentation
- Coordinating, instructing, and supervising external trades and maintenance companies, including acceptance of work
- Providing support in the areas of plumbing, heating, and HVAC
- Inspection, maintenance, and provision of assembly tools for service calls
- Technical guidance, support, and supervision during work processes
- Conducting training sessions and ensuring workplace safety
- Training and mentoring apprentices in mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
Your Profile
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or equivalent technical qualification
- Advanced training as an industrial foreman in electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office
- Professional experience in a relevant technical field
